The ICC has published documents about standards that students should have met prior to high school graduation and the assessments that could be used to measure that extent to which students have met those standards. An unique aspect of these publications is that they represent the consensus of faculty from the public schools and higher educational sectors in the state as to the skills, knowledge, and competencies that students should possess upon high school graduation and the means by which to measure their progress in meeting these standards.
